    Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is all the time moving time forward.

    From G-SHOCK, the watch brand that may be constantly setting new standards for timekeeping toughness, comes new G-STEEL models, a watch series with a new “Layer Guard Structure.” The GST-S100G that combines a solid case with a resin band. The overall black coloring of this model is offset by white hour and minute hands for designs that are chic and cool. A Tough Solar power system ensures virtually uninterrupted operation, even as a hand shift feature temporarily moves hands out of the way with the press of a button for simple reading of digital display contents. Double-LED face illumination assists in keeping the face and digital display easy to read, even in the dead of night. The new G-STEEL model is the easiest blend of several types of materials, a new structure, and fashionable design.
